The Sports Division

The sports sector brings together nearly 36,000 employers and 215,000 employees from nonprofit sports organizations, commercial sports entities, and professional sports organizations covered by the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Sports Sector. For more than 20 years, through social dialogue, the social partners have been developing concrete solutions to the challenges facing these sectors, particularly in the areas of employment, vocational training, working conditions, health, and social protection…

The representative social partners (COSMOS, AESL, UESC, CFDT, CGT, and FNASS) have as their primary mission the negotiation of an appropriate collective framework to support organizations and employees as they navigate changes in the world of work, to address the specific characteristics of a sector marked by a diversity of activities—and more.

Through the Joint Committee on Occupational Health and Safety (CPNPHSVS), the sector carries out specific initiatives dedicated to the prevention of occupational hazards. Its efforts aim to develop a culture of primary and sustainable prevention within organizations and to promote the adoption of best practices by all stakeholders in the sector.

To strengthen this momentum toward prevention and health awareness—and because women’s health is a priority—the Sports Industry Branch supports the Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes Foundation
